CIS offer a wide range of street furniture in a contemporary stainless steel. Stainless steel is low maintenance, strong and durable. With its contemporary look it is easy to see why this material is finding its way into many new build schemes as well as re-vitalising existing developments and townscapes.

Our range covers all schemes, from the traditional heritage cast iron design to a more contemporary stainless steel design; we can offer products to suit. We also offer a full installation, refurbishment and maintenance service; we can take the headache of dealing with several subcontractors and suppliers.

We ensure continuity on site and provide on-going maintenance to ensure the scheme's longevity and appearance. Cast iron is the ultimate recyclable material and most items will last 50-100 years even unpainted. CIS Street Furniture are proud to offer clients our stainless steel recycling centre. This product has been developed closely with local councils to meet the stringent requirements of on-street recycling.

Now based in Guildford with an office in Grantham, CIS Street Furniture Limited was formed over 25 years ago. It is company policy to stock the widest range of products in the industry with up to 40% of our range held as raw iron stock. CIS Street Furniture has considerable experience in manufacturing specials and one-off designs in many different materials.
Bollards are found today in many urban landscapes. They are mainly used to prohibit the use of vehicles within given areas. Often the use of bollards makes pedestrians feel less vulnerable to the passage of traffic in close quarters. CIS Street Furniture specialises in producing a vast range of bollards as shown throughout this section of the website.

A guide to handling stainless steel products when they arrive on site and the care required when installing. Bollards should always be securely fixed in 3:2:1 concrete mix, sulphate resisting if necessary. Certain sites, (dependant upon location) may require a quick setting concrete to be used. Extended roots are recommended for bollards where paving and bedding material take up more than a third of the standard 300mm bollard root length.
The combination of castings and steel in this range permits a great diversity in size and strength whilst retaining style elements from some of our cast bollards. The composite method of manufacture allows a greater degree of flexibility of design. These bollards can be customised by moving or adding features such as extra rings or introducing height changes to the standard shown.
