MJB Plumbing & Bathrooms is a well established family run business based in Baildon in West Yorkshire and operating in the surrounding areas. We can deal with all aspects of domestic plumbing from fixing a dripping tap to design and installation of a complete bathroom.
We take on all aspects of bathroom fitting and plumbing, ranging from fixing a tap to full refurbishments. We have old fashioned values with regards to customer service but we are always on the look-out for new techniques to improve the service we offer. For example when a customer called us with a leaking joint between a plastic waste pipe and a lead pipe drain we identified an effective modern solution.
The Philmac universal coupler is part of a range developed for industrial use but proved perfect in this application being quick to install and allowing the joint to be tested immediately. Another device we have adopted from practice in other industries is the boroscopic camera which allows us to investigate inaccessible spaces and even to look inside pipes.

We can undertake most general plumbing work. We always use the very best quality piping components - we believe that the incremental cost is well worthwhile. When it comes to the sanitary ware the choice is yours - good quality taps, sinks, baths, showers etc are available at modest cost but the sky is the limit!
Sometimes a client may have the luxury of a large bathroom which makes planning easy and the main focus is to achieve the overall 'look' required. More often though we find that space is at a premium and the location of architectural features such as windows and structural components may provide challenges as well as opportunities to achieving the best use of space.
Prior to submitting an estimate for work MJB assess the dust management requirements. This takes account of the potential for dust generation and the difficulty of providing appropriate protection. Laying of tough polycarbonate sheeting to protect floor coverings in working areas and material storage areas.
