Services
Our workshop is based just outside Longnor in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak District National Park, close to the border between Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We are located to ideally serve those in the Peak District and localities of the market towns of Leek, Buxton, Bakewell and Tideswell.
Roaches Joinery always meets the requirements placed on it by building control, local planning authorities and environmental demands. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver a range of bespoke products to satisfy all needs: From single glazed traditional windows to double glazed windows that work towards meeting aesthetic, architectural specification.
Whether internal or external, traditional or contemporary our doors are custom made and available in a wide range of designs and materials. We can advise on which materials and designs best suit in terms of environmental conditions and period of property to ensure a long lasting, practical beautiful door.
Sometimes both the customer and planning authorities require (where possible) that original joinery should be conserved. A combination of techniques including hardwood timber splicing and resin repairs are shown below. Original cylinder glass being carefully removed, cleaned and re-fitted or a sympathetic alternative found.
