Sent out a table with no instructions or fixtures. Explained to customer service that the table was specifically bought for use at Christmas. They sent out the required items via post rather than courier, assuring me that they'd arrive on time. Here I am, Christmas Eve, no fixtures have arrived, and with a table in bits.
The only reason I bought the table from this company was due to a speciffically flagged 'buy now to get before Christmas' promo message.
Not recommended at all.

I’d been shopping around for a solid oak mantle shelf and was astonished how expensive they were. A friend recommended funky chunky and I could not be more impressed. Custom made to size, fantastic quality, solid wood, fast & free delivery, easy to fit and all for a fraction of the cost id been looking at previously. Have now recommended to a friend as they loved it too. Couldn’t rate more highly A*

Friendly customer service is no substitute for competence. Bed frame could not be assembled since the slats were too long. They had not updated their measurements since changing the bed design. Initially they were friendly and responsive trying to rectify the situation. Weeks went without new slats being delivered (replacement slats were apparently delivered by a courier, but certainly not to our address). In the end Funky Chunky Furniture stopped communicating, and I bought a saw and cut the slats to size myself. The bed frame itself is fine, but nothing special. Would not use this company again

For the price - nothing better!
Their beds are far cheaper than competitors and really do live up to their name! It is simply built (expect no finesse), well finished, not warped and very very strong. Ours was delivered in just over 10 weeks. It was very well wrapped (took us 15 minutes to unwrap!). While they forgot to supply the 8 bolts that hold it all together, these were despatched and received the next day.
Do note:
1) They do arrive wet from the wax/oil. They do need several days to dry out.
2) They are VERY heavy and no amount of packaging can stop them from being knocked in transit

Very disappointed and will not recommend or use again.
We ordered 2 chests of drawers during the first week of April. We were fully aware there was about a 6+ week lead time.
The courier company that Funky Chunky use (Plus UK Logistics) had our furniture for over 2 months. We had to chase ourselves when this was going to be delivered; with confirmation it will be delivered to the room of our choice by the delivery people.
Having waited not only for the build of the drawers, then followed by a further 2 month wait as they sat in a warehouse, 2 van drivers turned up and refused to bring the furniture

I don't accept that you couldn't have done more. Your dispatch team didn't pack it carefully or in appropriate packaging. See photos attached. It doesn't look great when you disagree with every point a customer makes even when they give you positive feedback as well. I would suggest taking the criticism and learning from it like progressive companies do.

Very easy to order online. Table and benches arrived almost a month early which was great. Most of all no photo does it justice. Solid pieces of oak and looks very at home in our modern home, adds a warmth to the room. Everyone from the admin to the couriers were a joy to deal with. Can’t recommend this company enough.
