We supply two distinctly different types of handmade Moroccan tile; encaustic cement tiles, and wood-fired clay tiles which come either as loose zellige pieces or as pre-assembled mosaic panels. In addition, we offer a wide range of both sculpted and handpainted tiles. Please accept our apologies for any broken links, missing images & absent sections on this site.
We're aware of the problem, and striving to have it all up and running smoothly again soon.

Services
Established in 1994, we design and source an unusual, and continually evolving, stock of handmade Moroccan tiles. We also specialise in bespoke pieces, utilising the craftsmanship of the Moroccan master artisans to produce one-off items to our customers' specifications. We're best known for our stunning range of 'zellige' (handmade, hand-cut Moroccan tiles) produced in our kilns and workshops in the ancient city of Fez.
Dar Interiors produce and supply two distinctly different types of Moroccan tile: Encaustic Cement tiles and Wood-Fired Clay tiles. Both types are entirely handmade using traditional but completely different techniques, and can be used separately or together in combination. Our encaustic cement tiles come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, either as single colour tiles or in an extensive range of polychrome patterned tiles.
Our wood-fired clay tiles are made from the grey clay of Fez. This is kneaded by hand before being cut to size and fired in wood-burning kilns to produce the unglazed (terracotta) tile. Images & descriptions reference our range of Sculpted Moroccan tiles, made by hand, will be displayed here ~ hopefully very soon.
The founder of Dar Interiors has over 25 years of experience involving the sourcing, design & placement of artisan tiles. Over the years, we have assisted many owners & designers in fulfilment of their creative choices & practical applications. This restaurant project involved the placement of "fish-scale" panels on the walls, framed by neatly-patterned tiles.
