Electro Oil & Gas Burners Ltd, a subsidiary company of Bentone in Sweden, is disbanded due to its parent company looking to downsize operations in the UK. Following a management buy-out, the company is rebranded as EOGB Energy Products Ltd and relocated to St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Initially EOGB is an agent for the Bentone range of burners servicing the needs of the UK customers with technical backup and spares.

In order to meet the demands of Government and the consumer for lower CO2 emitting products, the future for the oil heating industry is moving towards biofuel products. EOGB Energy Products Ltd has been working closely with OFTEC as a member of the Biofuel Taskforce in the development of a biofuel for the heating market.
