Allerton Removals and Storage is able to offer secure local storage facilities - whether you are looking for short term storage for your furniture, or a more long term storage solution. We have a secure storage yard based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, which is located approx 150 yards from the local police station.
You can either hire us by the hour, on a half day or full day basis - depending on the amount of goods you need to move and the distances involved. Hiring us by the hour is a cost effective option and is suitable for jobs that will be completed within 2 hours or less (from our base back to our base).

These guys were great. Turned up promptly, we very professional and friendly and the cost was much better than some other removals. They moved us 1 hour away and took great care of my chocolate cake and coffee machine! I would recommend this team for removals.

We used Allerton removals for a house move. They were quick, friendly, careful and did a great job overall. They didn't leave until we were moved in, which was great as we had a long delay getting keys, so they didn't get finished until 1930, after starting at 0900. I would recommended.

We hired Allerton Removals when we experiencing the recent bad weather (beast from the east). They were absolutely great .
I phoned their office and spoke to a nice chap who explained the charges and answered all of my questions professionally (there were plenty of questions) I was instantly assured that I was dealing with a company who knew what they were doing .
Despite the terrible weather they turned up on time and even provided an extra man for free , something that I never asked for but they took into account the bad weather and knew an extra pair of hands would ensure my move went smoothly

Great company . I live in the dales and needed smaller vehicles in order to reach my property . We had 2 vans on hire and I couldn’t of been happier with the service . The 2 lads that came worked well as a team and had a bit of friendly banter too . There was no damage , no issues and finished just within the day rate limit so no additional charges 😊. I found the guy I spoke to on phone Knew what he was talking about and offered some great advice regarding packing etc . Overall I was happy with the service and will be using again if I move in the future.

We called Allerton removals when the company we had previously hired let us down three days before the move. They sent a van down to Herefordshire the day before the move to collect the stuff for storage, which they stored for us at very short notice, then on moving day, 2 vans arrived. They loaded us up, drove all the way to Barnard Castle and unloaded our things in the dark, without damaging a single item.

We hired this company on a misguided hope that they would help to make our move easier and save us some money in the process. They did neither.
The plan was to move contents from our two bedroomed house to a new three bed, however we had to break the chain, and so, put our possessions into storage.
To start with, two boxes were dropped by the handlers.
Then the prices started changing despite the advertised pricing on the website and the quote that we were given by the company. Some prices were almost double what they should have been.
