We provide both commercial and residential services for tarmacadam and asphalt installation, and tar and chip. Patios provide a great appearance and are also virtually maintenance free in a wide range of patterns and colours.
Tarmacadam and Asphalt are one of the most popular materials for driveways and pathways. These materials are highly economical for producing durable and easy to maintain driveways. Additionally, tarmacadam and asphalt drives are easy to install and relatively quick to produce. We provide both commercial and residential services for tarmacadam and asphalt installation.
Resin bound is a mixture of aggregate stones and resin used for footpaths, driveways, forecourts, patios, roads and swimming pool areas. It is a permeable paving solution and a flexible surfacing material, so is resistant to cracking. Resin bound can also rejuvenate a tired looking, worn area of tarmac or concrete with resurfacing the area to bring a bespoke fresh new cost-effective finish.

R and A Driveways have done 3 separate pieces of work for us. All the work they have done has been first rate.They did our drive and fencing at the front of the house and put in new gates about 4 years ago. The driveway 4 years later looks great. There were some initial problems with the gates but Ryan and the team were very responsive and came back to fixed them promptly. They put in a new fence and archway in the back garden and built a veg patch with railway sleepers. Subsequently they put in a patio and paved it with a sun design incorporating different coloured paving slabs 2 years ago. They

R&A has just completed our block paving drive way and new garden gates. They started on the day they said and accommodated our last minute, little layout change well. Listened very well what we would like and made sure everything was done properly. Attention to detail is second to none. Most people would try to finish quickly but they took their time to make sure the corners cut and laid out properly, frame was set to flow around the posts and the step. Lee and Jim are very nice people, they were kind, hard working and answered all our questions even the silly ones😊. Ryan checked on everything

Ryan and team did exactly what they said they would from day one, it is always difficult to select the right company however you will have no concerns if you choose R & A driveways the final price was exactly the same as the quote & the workmanship first class, the team were polite & respectful to ours & neighbours property, I can’t recommend Ryan & his team enough!! I wish them every success in the future & would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of having work done.

This company recently completed work at our neighbours property. Without any regard for our vehicles they were cutting bricks on the side joining our driveway (despite the works being complete on the opposite side of the house.) We would have been happy to move the vehicles out of the way had we of been asked. Common sense would suggest they should cut the bricks where there are working.
We saw the cars absolutely covered in brick dust the following morning (as we both work full time) my partner spoke to the men working and they just smiled at him suggesting the boss would just give him the money
