Here at Clayton's Fencing we are specialists in creating made to measure fencing for customers in both domestic and commercial sectors. We are a family run business with over 25 years experience in erecting fencing and other timber garden products. We provide a large range of fencing services to suit any project, from a sturdy close board fence to a made to measure picket fence enclosures, we are sure that we can help you.
We received a quote very promptly and the work was undertaken very quickly once we had accepted the quote. We consider that the workmanship was excellent, and fencing materials supplied to be of good quality also. As builders and developers, we have been using Claytons Fencing for over 10 years and are extremely satisfied with both their service and workmanship.
In this project we took down the customers existing fence and installed a new Lap Larch Panel fence. Our new fence is much more sturdy than their previous one. We also installed a one foot tall trellis to the top of the fence for added privacy and security. This customer required a child proof fence for her grandchildren so that they could not get close to the pond but could still enjoy the pond by gate access with parental guidance.
A strong and robust option, this type of close board fencing is a cost effective choice that is ideal for a solid boundary. The vertical boards partially overlap, providing privacy for your garden. The boards are then fixed to the rear supporting horizontal rails. I contacted Clayton Fencing at the start of a project to clear the top of my garden which was overgrown & required an old shed & greenhouse to be removed. During the project Clayton returned to provide further helpful advice on hedge removal and ground levelling to ensure the best outcome for the fence installation - always very helpful & responsive whenever I needed advice prior to the installation. From my first meeting with Clayton, he explained and we agreed on what would be required to remove and replace my fence, during the process Clayton kept me up to date with the commencement date, I did change my mind a couple of times and each time Clayton would pop round to discuss and guide me.
As promised his team turned up on the agreed date and time the guys were professional & respectful throughout the work and worked round any abnormalities that cropped up. To say I’m pleased with the end result is an understatement the transformation is amazing and i feel so much more secure. Even better

Highly recommended for an extremely fast, reasonable and professional service. This is the second job they have carried out for us, this time they built a curved wooden fence on a slope (not easy) - good advice was given which enhanced the final appearance. They also removed an old, dangerous, pergola and installed the new one, cutting and fixing all the interlinking parts to create a bespoke finish.
