We have been involved in the business of self storage ever since the concept was introduced into the UK in the early 1980s. In 2003 we were fortunate to have the opportunity to acquire the Grade II Listed Swan Lane Mill on Higher Swan Lane, Bolton in the heartland of the former Lancashire cotton industry.
At the time we took over, this glorious example of Victorian industrial architecture lay empty and in danger of dilapidation. It has been with great pleasure that we have been able to carefully restore and renovate the building, bringing it back to life to fulfil a vibrant role in Bolton and surrounding areas, in the provision of storage, light industrial and office units.
From the springboard of our success in Bolton we opened a further facility in Liverpool on Bridle Road, close to the Racecourse in Aintree. This has been fully refurbished into an ultra modern facility giving a high level of security and includes direct access (drive up) units. The property also benefits from a large yard with plenty of parking and under cover loading.

DO NOT USE!!!! Just been to pay for a service who is based within this unit - a very rude obnoxious man with eccentric body gestures and no customer service skills rudely and abruptly came up , swinging his arms about , shouting and acting as if it was a life or death situation , if the approach had of been different Id of gladly obliged to what he was asking. But I am not being spoke to like that , remember you never know who your talking to. I was parked a tyre over the curb and because the lorry driver had no parking skills and couldn’t swing it out it thus had to wait 5 minutes it was melt

Adams Self store is brilliant, Friendly helpful staff, the units are clean and easy to access, everything you need is available on site, all you need to do is ask, nothing is too much trouble. If you need storage calls here first.
We used them to store everything we owned while we were waiting for our new house purchase to go through. The service is simply excellent.
