Photovoltaics (PV) is a method of generating electrical power by converting solar radiation into direct current electricity using semiconductors that exhibit the photovoltaic effect. A Solar PV Installation usually consists of a number of solar panels which generate DC electricity and an inverter which converts this to AC electricity suitable for use.
Maximize the benefits of your solar PV with a Tesla Powerwall battery storage system. Surplus energy produced by your solar panels is stored in a battery to power your home at night. Tesla Powerwall provides backup power in the event of a power cut. Powerwall integrates with solar to harness the abundant power of the sun and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
The term Biomass refers to a group of products that generate heat from plant matter of one form or another. Biomass (usually wood) has provided us with a sustainable, renewable form of energy for millennia. Modern wood pellet, wood chip or log gasification boilers are completely integrated to provide renewable, sustainable, carbon neutral central heating.
Heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to traditional boilers. Like your fridge, heat pumps use electricity to move heat from a cool environment to a warm environment. During the heating season a heat pump collects heat from the air or ground outside and concentrate it for use inside.
Solar Thermal systems can provide 50% to 70% of your property's annual hot water needs from sunlight. In the summer it is quite likely you will not need your boiler on at all. Solar Hot Water systems are one of the most cost effective and popular renewable energy resources currently available. Solar Hot Water Systems (Solar Thermal Systems) convert light into heat, which is used to make hot water for your home or business.
