We install anything from straightforward independent scaffolds to complex support and roofing structures. We provide ancillary services alongside, so you don't need to worry about scaffolding inspection or aerials - we've got it all covered. All our work is fully complaint with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2105.
Our UBIX temporary roofing system is significantly more robust than the standard tin-roofing systems. We'll use 'tube and fitting' or system scaffolding to give safe and convenient access to your place of work at height. Sterling Scaffolding is an independent company with a solid reputation for expertise and reliability. Established in 2002, we have always made safety our priority, both for our clients and for our own staff when scaffolding is installed, inspected and removed. Health and Safety on-site is non-negotiable.
This is the 'traditional' scaffolding most people are familiar with - the scaffolding seen in the high street or with most building work, from small projects to large construction sites. It's made of galvanised steel tubes and linked with universal fittings. Wooden boards are used to provide working platforms.
Standard industry guidelines and templates cover a wide range of scaffolding projects. However, they don't cover all permutations. This is often the case where the building or required work is unusual and where there is no obvious ready-made plan to use or adapt. This is where our experience comes into play: our expert designers will create the most suitable scaffolding to the highest standards to ensure complete structural integrity and safety.
Temporary roofing protects both buildings and the people working on them. It's suitable where roofs are being repaired or replaced, or where extensive work is undertaken that requires contractors to work at height for longer periods of time. We use the modular Combisafe UBIX system that is quick and straightforward to erect, increasing safety and reducing 'lost' construction time.
Sterling Scaffolding design and provide scaffolding temporary staircases to meet a wide variety of needs including access to the building floor or roof, or as an emergency staircase. We use 'traditional' tube and fitting scaffolding, or 'system' (prefabricated) scaffolding, depending on what is appropriate for the job.
