I have worked as an interior designer for the last 30 years and am delighted to have been made a member of the British Institute Of Interior Design, despite having had no formal training. I am married to Co-Founder Nick and together, we have four children. Interior design is the kind of job where you never stop being inspired and seeing new ideas and ways of using them, which I love.
I also enjoy meeting new people and always look forward to seeing both new and longstanding clients alike - many of whom have become friends. I like a home to be a home and not a show house; beautifully furnished, but so comfortable you can't wait to return at the end of the day. My hobbies are cooking, travelling, antiques and shopping.
I have worked as an interior designer for over 30 years, and specialise in architectural design, spatial planning and sympathetic extension work to turnkey finish. I also encompass landscape design into the overall project. I am married to fellow interior designer and hm interiors Co-Founder Pam.

Services
Our style is eclectic and timeless - a mix of old and new with an uncompromising approach to quality. Whilst all our projects have our clients' individual style and requirements at their heart, certain common threads can be seen throughout all our schemes. First is our pervasive love of antiques - harking back to Nick and Pam's early career as antique shop owners.
This art and antique-filled Victorian mansion block apartment in Barnes is the home of hm interiors' Co-Founder Tom Cox. Tom employed clever spatial planning to create an airy and light home, bursting with personality from his eclectic private art collection. To create the illusion of space without having a fully open-plan layout, we fitted reclaimed Georgian glazed panelling between the kitchen and living room.
From a 1950s property with limited architectural character, we undertook this full design, build and interior design project to create a modern country home. Open-plan living spaces with pitched ceilings are given warmth with an eclectic collection of antiques and specially commissioned large-scale artworks, while reclaimed sinks and fireplaces were sourced on buying trips to Belgium.
The family home of hm interiors' Co-Founders Pam and Nick Cox, this converted stable block is filled with antiques and artefacts lovingly collected over the past four decades. The house has been remodelled by knocking three small rooms into one, to create a large open-plan living and kitchen space with pitched ceilings.
With its Georgian origins and rural location in mind, this full turnkey project showcases hm interiors' meticulous attention to detail and tireless consideration. Rustic copper pipe taps in the boot room, internal glass doors, ornate hanging lantern from Jamb, our signature vanity units - available to buy in The Shop at The Boatyard- and an eclectic collection of art and curiosities all elevate the scheme.
