The terra firma Consultancy is a professional landscape architecture practice specialising in all aspects of landscape planning, assessment and design; at all scales, in all sectors, throughout the UK and overseas. Our services encompass the entire range of the landscape architectural profession's remit from inception, assessment, concept to delivery and on-going management beyond.
During his time at terra firma he has been involved in over 200 projects in the UK, and abroad (in France, Romania, and in the Middle-East). Martin's experience extends from masterplanning new towns and large-scale landscape reclamation, to detailing around apartment blocks and school extensions, with work for housing and industrial developers in-between.
Alice's role has also included supporting County and District Councils and the South Downs National Park Authority; providing advice to planning teams, including Expert Witness and specialist advice on delivering countryside and management projects. Osterley House and Park, Isleworth - Conservation Management Plan in collaboration with the National Trust.
There, working as an estate worker he was able to live and work on a small, remote island three miles off the coast of Guernsey. Prior to this Alex had been working in private practice in Essex with an established landscape architects. There he gained experience in the planning process, detailed planting schemes, graphic design and open space strategy documentation.
