Our business owner, John Collier, started working in the garage door industry when he left school in 1980 at the tender age of 17. He began working alongside PC Henderson - leading UK manufacturers of up and over garage doors at the time. There he started to learn about all aspects of the doors and their installations.
With his willingness to learn and his natural ability, he soon progressed and was appointed National Sales Manager with another leading garage door producer. The role included training installation & fitting to his team. While heading up the nationwide sales force he very quickly became a well respected figure with other garage door companies.
After working in this position for several years he was approached by a large European manufacturer of garage door remote control systems & home automation. In 1996 John was appointed as UK Sales Director. He used his contacts within the industry to secure an exclusive supply contract with the largest UK manufacturer- Henderson Garage Doors.
