Certain trees, ( TPO's or Tree Protection Orders) and areas (Conservation Areas) are protected by local councils and any work would need to be approved by the LPA prior to any work commencing.

Services
Felling is the total removal of the tree. The section fell process is undertaken using lowering ropes to safely control every stage of the operation. Crown reduction is a process of pruning to make the overall size of the tree smaller, by pruning the extremities of each branch. Crown reducing makes the tree more aesthetically pleasing, reduces the chances of limb failure and allows extra light into gardens/houses.
Acer Tree Services did a brilliant job in our garden, trimming our trees and big yew hedge. They did exactly as we asked and more, by cleaning and leaving the place as they found and better!
