Fixed Wire Testing Report

Fixed Wire Testing is the report and inspection of electrical systems in a premises in regards to safety. It is known as the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), previously known as the Periodic Inspection Report. It is designed to make sure that the electrical wiring is compliant with current regulations.

Emergency Light Testing Report

Emergency lighting is lighting for an emergency situation when the main power supply is cut and any normal illumination fails. The loss of mains electricity could be the result of a fire or a power cut and the normal lighting supplies fail. This may lead to sudden darkness and a possible danger to the occupants, either through physical danger or panic.

PAT Testing Report

Portable appliance testing, commonly known as PAT testing, is a way of checking your electrical equipment to see if it is safe and is vital to protect your business and its employees. Electrical testing should be performed by a person who is competent in the safe use of the test equipment and who knows how to interpret the test results obtained.

Remedial Repairs Report

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) assesses the safety of an installation. Where certain defects or damage is observed, remedial works are required to satisfy the duties imposed on duty holders by the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, designed to ensure systems are safe for continued use.

We dealt with Barrie from Maxpower who was absolutely fantastic! He completed an electrical safety certificate on one of our larger properties and did so quickly, efficiently and very affordably! He was excellent at explaining the processes so I was in no doubt what he was involved with. He was extremely trustworthy and I was able to get on with my own work while he just cracked on! Maxpower did an Electric Installation Condition Report (EICR) which is a legal requirement for any new tenant renting your property. Maxpower was able to book us quickly and they did a very thorough job. Their price is a lot lower than other electrical company that do EICR.
This EICR will be a legal requirement for all rental properties, whether you have new or existing tenants, starting April 2021 and I have already booked with Maxpower all my rental properties with existing tenants to be done first thing on April 2021 .
I highly recommend them for your EICR.
