Rose Barn Workshop was established in 1987 and has been producing the finest bespoke handmade kitchens and furniture ever since. Our traditional workshop is situated in the heart of the Kent countryside in the picturesque village of Shepherdswell. Working from a converted rustic stable barn, all our attention is focused on every bespoke project - one at a time.
Rose Barn Workshop was recommended to us and we are absolutely delighted we made the decision to get Mark to build our wardrobes and dresser for our study. The process was easy, Mark was very professional and came to our home to measure up and the final product is stunning. Both items have made beautiful editions to each room and we know we will love them for many years to come.
Rose Barn Workshop was recommended to us by a local tradesman we had used and friends within the village. We were able to see first-hand the quality of the kitchens by visiting our friends house and seeing the craftsmanship. I found Rose Barn Workshop to be competitive with the nationwide companies but they offered a much better quality product and more personal customer service.

A family run company with over 50 years combined carpentry and joinery experience. Ron Leftley established the business in 1987 and was joined by his son Mark when he qualified as a Carpenter and Joiner in 2005, the Father & Son duo have been working alongside each other ever since. Ron made the decision to part retire in 2015 and the business is now run by Mark.
We can paint your kitchen any colour of your choice! Every piece of furniture is lovingly hand painted from the primer to the top coat. We believe hand painting every coat gives you a true authentic bespoke kitchen. If you're opting for an Oak Kitchen, we carefully finish with varnish to show off its natural beauty.
We understand having a new kitchen fitted can be a little bit disruptive - it's our job to make the process as smooth as possible. We believe the main way we achieve this, is your ability to have direct contact with Mark. He is the Joiner & Owner and will be on hand from the start of the process to the completion of your Kitchen - this is the beauty of choosing a small family run company.
