Our Corporate Property Management Service is tailor-made to suit individual client's requirements. It is centred on a computerised records system that is kept up to date. Landlord and tenant advice comes in many forms including negotiating new leases, dilapidation claims at the end of the lease, dealing with consent for alterations and dispute resolution between landlord and tenant.

Property acquisition involves finding a suitable property and negotiating a proper price whether it is to buy or to let. From our offices in Oxfordshire, Johnson Waud provide property advice throughout the United Kingdom.
Services
Johnson Waud provide property advice throughout the United Kingdom from our centrally located offices in Oxfordshire, which benefit from close proximity to London. First established in 1985 as a firm of chartered surveyors and commercial property consultants, we advise on corporate property management, rent reviews, rating appeals, landlord and tenant matters, dispute resolution, property acquisition and general professional services.
Property acquisition involves finding a suitable property and negotiating a proper price whether it is to buy or to let. Johnson Waud will investigate what is available through subscription and public databases, local and national agents and by researching the area on the ground.
Rating appeals need to be properly investigated before an appeal is lodged. This is because rating assessments can go up as well as down as a result of an appeal. There is certainly no guarantee of success, but that is not to say that there can be some very significant savings to ratepayers as a result of an appeal.
Landlord and tenant advice comes in many forms including negotiating new leases, dilapidation claims at the end of the lease, dealing with consent for alterations and dispute resolution between landlord and tenant. Johnson Waud are experienced in this field and we are able to use our dispute resolution skills to get matters settled in a cost effective way.
The level that the rent is set at rent review and in a lease renewal is largely determined by the research that is done and so at Johnson Waud this is seen as fundamentally important. In terms of rent reviews the wording of the review clause can have an impact on the final outcome of the review. We deal with many rent reviews every year and so are experienced in the consequences of different wording.
