Karl Terry Roofing Contractors Ltd are a multi award winning company that were established in 1993. Based near Tenterden, in Kent, we are proud of the enviable reputation that we have achieved. Our conscientious staff are experienced in all aspects of pitched roofing, specialising in Kent peg tiling and conservation work.
We undertake both maintenance and complete re-roofing work on the smallest to the grandest of properties. We have an extensive portfolio of completed work carried out to many interesting and historic buildings throughout Kent, South East England and even as far afield as Florence in Italy! Karl Terry has sat on the NFRC's Heritage and Regional Committees and is a member of The Institute of Roofing.
He has been awarded Master Craftsman status by The Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers and is an NFRC Heritage Roofmaster. We are members of CITB, Competent Roofer, Trustmark and have gained NFRC Heritage Roofmaster status.

They include The NFRC Heritage Award four times, in 2006, 2010, 2011 & 2016, The NFRC's award for double lap tiling twice 2015 & 2016, The National Home Improvement Councils Excellence in Roofing Awards 2014 and The Clay Tile Councils Excellence in Roofing Awards 2008.

We moved into a very well worn heritage property over winter, complete with characteristic roof damage and in urgent need of repairs. There were 2 holes with tiles missing, and old, ineffective guttering which needed to be replaced.
We sought several quotes and nobody else came close to being as personable and informative as Karl. Karl is an honest, easy going gentleman with an eye for detail and a sincerity about his appraisals. He provided us with a quote brochure which explained everything in very thorough detail.

I have used Karl Terry Roofing contractors three times in the last 10 years for jobs including a full re-roof and multiple repairs and have always found their work to be of the very highest quality. Their work was excellent but so was both their attention to detail and customer service. I would be very happy to recommend them and indeed have done so on several occasions too friends and family.

Karl Terry has completed 3 roofs for my crumbly but charming property over the last 10 years. I am just about to engage on another project with him as he has made such lovely work on all three works in Peg tiles, and Welsh Slate.
His knowledge, fair pricing, after care and the skill from his cheerful team have always made him a consistent choice. Nothing is too much trouble as there is constant pride in their work
