Porter Plumbing is the trading name of Adrian Porter, a plumbing and heating engineer based in Ambleside, Cumbria. I work mainly in the south-central area of the beautiful Lake District, but will travel further afield for some (mainly larger) jobs. I am happy to undertake a wide variety of plumbing and heating work, commercial or domestic, large or small jobs, planned or emergency.
That I will not automatically replace like-for-like (just because the old boiler was over-sized doesn't mean the new one has to be!). In emergency you may call me at any time of the day or night, at any time of the year. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that I will be available, but please feel free to ask. Services
OFTEC registered technician for the installation of oil fired heating systems and unvented (mains pressure) hot water storage systems. I carry out installation and servicing work on oil fired (pressure jet) heating systems, associated equipment and controls. If you have a gas fired heating system I can carry out work on the heating distribution (pipework & heat emittors) and controls, but not on the boiler or the gas pipework.
