Over the 3 years he gained all of his NVQ qualifications, and now with over 20 years experience for various companies, he is the owner of his own flooring company. His wife began her career in business where she gained a business administration NVQ and worked in a busy sales office for nearly 10 years before embarking on a new career in education. She qualified as a Primary school teacher in 2009 and after 6 years took some time out after the birth of the couples 3rd child in 2015.
She has now returned to her business roots as she operate the sales and purchasing sides of the business. Together they offer a local, family run business which prides itself on attention to detail and puts customer service at the forefront of everything they do. Founded by Peter John McWilliams in 2016, PJM flooring services has worked hard to establish itself as one of the most trusted flooring companies across Chester. We are expanding with our first showroom now open in Deeside. We work with both residential and commercial customers to bring their interiors to life.

PJM flooring services fitted luxury vinyl to our living room and hallway recently and we had fantastic customer service from beginning to end. Pete and his team were very professional and clean and tidy. The floor itself looks amazing - it really brings our home together. Sadly after just 12 months my Luxury laminate flooring in the kitchen started raising so pete came out to look but said it wasn't his fault its the underneath raising. The landlord was called and also concluded the floor shouldn't have been laid so soon after laid. £800 ish and my kitchen looks awful. worst floor in the house. not only this but the amount of pieces that have big gaps or coming up is ridiculous. Wish i never had it done now after 2 years. Sorry to leave this review but PJM wiped their hands.

Brilliant service from start to finish from Pete, Candice and the team. We had Hong Kong carpets on the stairs, landing and bedrooms and project flooring in the hall and living room/dining room. We sent a quote we had from another company and PJM were able to beat the quote and give us other options that were cheaper without losing any quality to help try and save us more money. The actual fitting went brilliantly, turned up on time and completed the job in the timeframe booked for. We couldn’t be more made up with the end results! It has made the house feel very much like a home and it was a pleasure dealing with PJM flooring.

Hi, Peter fitted our flooring (Polyflor Camaro Range LVT) this last week in hallway, kitchen, ensuites and downstairs hallway and utility room. Price was very reasonable, service was excellent - we were always updated as to progress, timings etc which was very useful when we were not on site the whole time and the quality of the finish looks fantastic. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for our amazing karndean flooring, we absolutely love it.
As you know we've almost completed our house renovation and I can honestly say that Pete was by far the best trades man we had the pleasure of working with. Petes takes such pride in his work and we're absolutely over the moon with the final results, even better than we had imagined.
Throughout the whole process you both went out of your way to be more than accommodating, making appointments to suit us even on evenings, weekends and with Pete working really late into the night for us.
Now we've had our kitchen, dining room and living room done we're looking forward to having the bathroom done next year.

Fantastic job done on fitting all the flooring and carpet at my refurbished bungalow. Great communication and service from PJM flooring, Peter always turns up on time and is very particular about doing a great Job. Have used them twice now and will certainly be using them again when I need flooring/carpet in the future.
