These cater for all types of home development including, one off homes, house extensions, steading conversions, loft, basement & garage conversions, internal alterations and home upgrading projects. Our Architects service is flexible.

Robbie helped me with my tenement renovation in 2020 including moving load bearing walls to create bigger kitchen in a kitchen recess. He supported me from the get go with advice, redesigning of the flat, all paperwork, dealing with builders and making sure all was done according to regulations. All of this while in the midst of first lockdown too. Very happy with the support and advice particularly where dealing with regulations and making sure all is done right vs builders interpretation came to clash a bit. Very happy with his work and next year once ll buy a house if I need to rejig anything

Domestic Architecture helped us design and draw up plans to modernise our tenement flat. Robbie was involved in all stages put me in touch with a structural engineer and builders who I would also recommend. He knows all about the regulations and requirements too and gave detailed guidance on these. The result is brilliant and I can't thank Robbie enough for all his design, drawings, help and advice.

We contracted Domestic Architecture to work closely with us on a conceptual design, for a new build dwelling in a rural part of Aberdeenshire. This was to be a challenging project for both ourselves and D.A as the design would have to meet strict planning criteria and a high build specification.
We are delighted to report that after much hard work, focused attention to detail and a close collaboration with D.A Architect, we achieved full planning at first attempt.

We hired Robbie to get plans drawn up for our tenement flat renovation. We moved a structural wall and remodeled our kitchen, sitting room and bedroom. It was a complicated project but Robbie made the whole process much easier. He project managed from the initial design through to applying for the building warrant, overseeing works and applying for compleciton of works from the council. At every step he was tranpsarent, professional and honest. Worth every penny. I would highly recommend his services if you're having work done to your home.

Domestic Architecture Development designed a single storey extension to the rear of my semi-detached bungalow. Their design was very precise to my original idea. They even suggested some ideas to improve the design which I ultimately went for. I found them efficient, polite, thorough, and the quality of the design was exceptional. The builder I hired even praised the specification and design. Above all they were very reasonably priced, and I would highly recommend this company.

I contracted the services of Domestic Architecture Development in April 2016 to undertake a loft conversion. From the outset DA Development were positive and reassuring even though it was a 'tricky' project. A clever and innovative approach secured planning permission. All works now completed and Certificate of completion issued. I would highly recommend Domestic Architecture to anyone looking for an architect. First class service!

I have known Robbie for many years on a professional basis and so when we were looking to carry out work on our home, and required the services of an architect, I approached Robbie to carry out the work.
