Originally formed as part of Westland's Engineers Ltd in 1948, as part of a diversification strategy away from military products, Garador Limited was setup to manufacture one piece garage doors. Soon after Westland's Engineers Limited purchased a license from Canada to manufacture one piece Up and Over garage doors and became the only manufacturer of such doors in the UK through the 1950s.
Garador Up & Over doors are a safe and reliable solution for your garage door opening. Available in a variety of styles and materials, including steel, timber or GRP, you are sure to find a door to suit your home. Our steel Up & Over garage door range offers excellent value for money, without compromising on quality, and are available in a choice of ribbed and panelled designs.
Garador's traditional Side Hinged garage doors combine robust and reliable performance with simple personal access. They open outwards and are manufactured with equal sized leaves, with the right hand leaf leading as standard. 1/3 - 2/3 leaf configurations and/ or left hand leading doors are available on request.
Garador Sectional doors are the best engineered garage door on the market, and offer excellent thermal insulation with single skin and insulated options available. Our Premium range of sectional garage doors have a 42mm thick double skin steel section that is evenly filled with CFC-free PU foam; ideal for integral garages and workshops where thermal insulation can be very important.

Cracking company. My double garage door had operated faultlessly for 8 years. After a power cut and opening the door manually it wouldn't close fully and a factory reset cancelled out the remotes. Contacted their team in Yeovil and after a few emails, answered within minutes not the usual days from some companies, a great guy called Dan rang me and talked me through getting everything working again. A good product backed up with excellent customer service.

Not really what you'd expect from a local company that believes there product is the best on the market. Door was installed on the 22nd February 2020, six months later it still isn't working correctly despite numerous adjustments. Garador have now decided that the original bow arm mechanism is not suitable for the canopy door and that the 'old' 'original' bow arm assembly will work. Still waiting for this to be fitted by a Garador approved installer. They talk a good product but that's not our experience.

Absolutely appalling quality door, gaps within the door panel itself cause my new build garage to flood when it rains.
Very obstructive and evasive on the phone, ultimately stating their doors are not meant to prevent water ingress.
So, a poorly designed door, poor quality assurance and non existent customer service.
If you purchase anything from this crowd you'll only have yourself to blame.
I've reported these issues to trading standards.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. My garage door (less than 3 years old) on a new build property jammed shut at the top whilst closing it once evening. Being too late to call out an engineer, we had to remove the runners to secure our garage for the night, otherwise all our possessions would be at risk, due to the faulty door. Garador turned around and said this was now out of warranty and would be chargeable for a call out. Poor quality door, terrible customer service and a company I'd never advise anyone to deal with.
