Our founder's inspiration for Bishop Ltd came from working in his own family business for over 25 years. From the age of 21 he was fortunate enough to work at management level in high end projects as a sub-contractor. Whilst working in the family business he came to realise his passion lay in developments, building projects and project management, which fuelled him to create a company that focused purely on such projects and specialities.
Bishop Ltd can help you to not only design your new property but also to bring that design to life with our excellent bespoke building services. Our craftsmen are carefully selected to ensure that your vision is materialised in the best possible way. We undertake all works associated with the building of both Commercial and Residential properties from commencement to completion.
Bishop Ltd has extensive experience in building either a single new home, multiple new houses, and apartment blocks. We pride ourselves on our high standard of workmanship and also for meeting the set time frames and budgets from our client's. Clients have often preferred to use our Turnkey service when it comes to new builds, preferring to take a back seat and leaving all the practical and technical building issues for us to deal with.
The results of a good refurbishment can totally transform the ambience and value of your property. Here at Bishop Ltd we undertake both Commercial and Residential, internal and external, full or part refurbishments. The full Turnkey service includes any support required by the client with regards to the design, build and legal requirements associated with the build.
A new solid construction can either be attached or detached from the existing property. Clients will receive advise as to when Building and Planning approvals will be required, of when inspections are due (handled by us on your behalf with our Turnkey service) and on practical matters concerning the space, for example the overall finish and practical use of the extension.

We used Bishop Ltd to renovate a small office which we needed to move into asap. This meant the consultation and work needed to be completed within 10 days. There was fantastic input on the layout and brilliant creative problem solving around some design aspects. The work itself was finished to a very high quality and everyday the team were punctual, polite and tidy. They even finished a day early! Amazing all-round service and superb standard.

We used Bishops for the major refurbishment of our Village Hall. They were extremely co-operative and took on the job despite our extremely tight time frame which they said was impossible and it was. The work was still completing when we had to re-open the Hall. Bishops worked around our Hirers and completed the work without any disruption.
Generally an excellent all round performance. We would definitely use them again.

I am extremely happy with the service and workmanship I received from Bishop Ltd builders for my full home refurbishment and small extension. They were very helpful, easy to work with and the level of their work is brilliant! I am very happy with the results in all areas of the house, especially the drop ceilings with concealed lighting they advised me on and installed, great touch. Great company!
