Preparing lawns for winter It's traditional to give lawns a pick-me-up in September, to revitalise them after summer weather and to ensure they are fit enough to get through winter. However, with longer summers and lack of water it's best to hold on until after some decent rain and you can see the grass is growing again.

My local garden centre. Always wide variety of outdoor and indoor items on offer. Been getting the annual Christmas tree from here for a few years now, and the staff are always super helpful, giving you plenty of time and help and never rush you. Make sure you support your local tax paying businesses everyone!!

Wonderful garden centre with a huge array of garden goods and gifts. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend as a stop for all your gardening needs. But please don't take advantage of the car park if you are visiting the Lido, its not fair to the centre as it stops paying customers which is esential for them in this day and age! Thank you Ducks Hill Garden Centre for all your hard work.

Well although it seems that this garden centre has been around longer than my 52yrs living in Ruislip.
They have amazingly beautiful garden furniture, and very affordable, to fit many budgets..
Plants & pots and very helpful staff, that old fashioned smile on there face...
