Ashwood Scotland Limited was founded in 1999 by Managing Director Archie Meikle, initially working from a 200 sq ft office in Livingston, securing two contracts within four weeks of our formation. We have traded uninterrupted ever since. From humble beginnings we now fulfil new build, refurbishment, restoration and maintenance contracts from 500 to 5 million value.

HNC Construction Management qualified and a CITB SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Project Manager, Archie set up his own specialist subcontract business at the age of 21, developed it, successfully sold it and held senior board positions with a UK plc and a multi-disciplinary Scottish construction group before founding Ashwood in 1999.
