Sadly we had a really horrible experience with Cobb electrical. They had quoted for some work - which we did not want them to do as it was far too expensive, and as far as we could see, totally unnecessary.
We asked them to quote on a different much smaller job and go ahead with the work (£110+vat), they then went ahead with the unnecessary and expensive work we did not want them to do, charged us over £1000 (instead of £110+vat) and threatened us with court if we did not comply. They were extremely intimidating.
When I told them that the work they had carried out was unsafe as bare wires

First class service. I have been using Cobb Electrical for about 5 years now and I can recommend them 100%. They have a team of about 6-8 qualified electricians, so they can always get somebody out at short notice. They are polite, smartly turned out, turn up bang on time and check back with you before the drilling starts when placing new light, sockets etc to make absolutely sure they are going exactly where you want them. Appalling service from this company - having not invoiced me, they were about to send a county court judgement which I only discovered on chasing them for the invoice myself! Turns out they had an incorrect email address for me but couldn't be bothered to write or telephone me for 4 months. On contacting their office and attempting to let office manager know how I unhappy I was at the potential seriousness of their mistake, she tells me I'm being rude as I try to pay with a card! Never again.

I have used Cobb's through my own employer over a number of years for a variety of tasks. I have found their standards of work to be at the highest level, they can tackle anything from the simple up to complete commercial install, their wiring is neat and tidy and everything complies with the very latest regulations.
