R22 is the refrigerant gas found in the majority of air conditioning equipment over 10 years old. R22 is a hydrochloroflourocarbon (HCFC) which can potentially cause ozone depletion if leaked into the atmosphere. In 2003 R22 was banned from use in newly manufactured air conditioning systems. Cool-Rite can help you plan to cost-effectively replace existing R22 equipment.
Air conditioners nowadays are significantly more power-saving than earlier generations. However, they could only perform at their finest if they have been appropriately placed in the first place. Have had a fantastic Panasonic air conditioner installed in our living room. It has smart features allowing us to connect to Alexa and control it through there, or by using our phones or remote control.
Our living room has a lot of glass and so gets incredibly hot in the summer. From quote to install, Cool-Rite were very professional and delivered on everything they said they would. On installation day, the installers were courteous and respectful ensuring they minimised disruption to us as much as possible. Really cannot recommend Cool-Rite enough, and to top it all off the price was very competitive
