New boiler installed this week by Duncan and Tom. Not the easiest job for them as my old house threw up several challenges along the way. All brilliantly handled though, and the guys have done a fab job on the install and arranging an electrician to sort out my substandard electrics to make everything safe and compliant.
I would totally recommend Max Gas - Duncan clearly knows what he’s doing and can think on his feet when problems arise.

Duncan and his colleague arrived exactly when we agreed. They were both friendly and considerate. The old boiler and tank etc were removed and taken away. The new boiler was installed in the agreed time. The system explained to me and finally everything was left clean and tidy. Well done brilliant job. Thanks

Duncan disconnected an existing radiator & then reconfigured all new pipework (which he discussed & agreed the route with me upon arrival) to connect 2 new radiators I'd already hung, into our system. 1st class pipework & soldering, very neat & tidy. He also did a thorough annual service to our boiler (which he'd installed 2 years ago) & operational check & test on the heating system. Excellent attention to detail & very reliable. Highly recommended.

Called Duncan on a Thursday morning as we were getting no hot water, and he came out the same day to have a look. He determined we needed a new boiler and, knowing we had a 1-year-old, worked hard to fit us in for the following Monday. We were so impressed with how quick he was and how well the work got done. He was also good at explaining things to me - I have a tendency of forgetting explanations before my husband gets home, but Duncan made sure I understood. Highly recommend.

Duncan stuck to his promise and arrived on time. We have an unvented pressurised water system that has been off putting to some, but not Duncan. He is knowledgeable and corrected the fault quickly, was tidy, polite and reasonable with his charges sticking to the estimated (blind) cost. Would I use him again - you bet, next job will be to service our boiler, which he also had good knowledge of.

Highly highly recommended. All I can say is if you are having problems with your boiler then go ahead and give Duncan a call. You’ll be greeted by a very friendly chap who will more than happily explain all the options you have, be it replace or repair. We opted for replace and the work carried out was excellent, Duncan was extremely friendly, explaining everything he was doing and kept on top of any mess that was being made and the job was in an awkward tight spot under the stairs. I will be using MaxGas for my servicing from now on and would highly recommend him to anyone. Well done Duncan

We called Duncan out a week ago to service our boiler and issue the usual Gas Safe certificate. Duncan was efficient and informative, sadly we had problems with the boiler and there was no other option but a replacement. Duncan gave us a detailed quote with various price options for different boilers. Less than a week later we have our new boiler together with all new pipe work from the mains and through our property updating the installations to the gas hob and the gas fireplace in the sitting room.

In the last 3 years Ive used Duncan for 3 new boilers in 3 dfferent properties and a new hot water cylinder. He always sends a quote beforehand which he always sticks to even if there are unexpected problems which arise. He's a very tidy and considerate guy, always arrives when he's supposed to and is extremely knowledgeable of all the regulations. His prices are very fair and I would thoroughly recommend. I wouldn't use anyone else
