Town & Country Storage is based on a picturesque farm just one-and-a-half miles from Bridgwater. The journey from town is quick and simple, and this convenient location eliminates the need to navigate a busy shopping centre. Run by Ben and Tamsin Tarr, Town & Country Storage offers high-level security thanks to their on-site presence, alarm system and CCTV monitoring.
A wide selection of storage units are available from Town & Country Storage, with various sizes on offer. Ranging from 6ft to 20ft long, all our self storage units are 8ft wide by 8ft tall and benefit from full width, easy-access roller shutter doors. As well as benefiting from being situated inside a secure farm building, each storage unit is accessible by vehicle, eliminating the need for trollies or lifts.
To get the best idea of the size you need, we encourage you to come and have a look for yourself. All the units are 8ft high offering a large cubic capacity. Here is a rough guide to what our different self storage units will house. These are the largest units. Approximately the size of a large single garage, these may be suitable for a larger house move, or a business requiring better access to a range of stored goods.

We are provisional memebers of the Self Storage Association UK and once our facility is fully finished (soon!) we will become full members. We adhere to their operational standards and use their Standard Self Storage Contract as our contract. We had tricky circumstances because we didn't know exactly how long we needed storage for all our household goods while we visited family abroad for almost 6 months and rented out our house during that time and for a while thereafter. In the end it was almost 9 months. Ben was very flexible and even increased the amount of storage we required on the day of arrival with the removers because we had underestimated our requirement.
