I have been in the cleaning industry, cleaning carpets, curtains, fabric and leather upholstery for nearly a decade, servicing mainly Edinburgh, West Lothian, Ayrshire, Fife, Falkirk and Central Scotland. During this time I have built up an extensive knowledge of materials, fibres and the best possible techniques and solutions required to achieve the best possible results when cleaning carpets, upholstery or leather - every time.
Dust Mite EliminationFor anyone that suffers from allergies, dust mite can be the bane of their lives. At Aquatec, we can eliminate dust mites from all soft furnishings (carpets, curtains, upholstery, and mattresses) giving twelve months relief to sufferers. To this end, we use Pro-Mite products. The law requires anyone who applies an insecticide in any property, other than their own, to have undertaken a recognised and approved training course.
Carpets act as filters and they trap pollutants, allergens, grit and many other nasties. Regular vacuuming will remove a fair proportion of these but cannot remove it all. Over time, this will build up to the point that the carpet can hold almost its own weight in soiling. Often, you can see this build up if you part the tufts of your carpet and look down to the base of the pile.
The most common complaints from householders are generally in relation too flea's, moths and bed bugs. Aquatec Cleaning Group offers a comprehensive service to deal with bed-bug infestations. Bed-bug infestations can take a number of months to control and to be effective requires the total co-operation of the householder.
