Chestnut Sheds & Fencing

I have a lovely 14ft by 12ft log cabin. It is beautifully made and installed. The slab I'd had laid was slightly out of true but adjustments were made and the shed is completely weatherproof so much so that I am installing a heat recycling vent fan. I've insulated it and walked it and put in a ceiling. All wired and lit and rea.dy for a large model railway.

My wife and I went to four other shed companies around that area and Chestnut Sheds felt by far the right choice and we didn't even see any of their sheds. On arrival we were approached by a lovely man called Tony, we spoke briefly about what I wanted in a shed and he gave us some good ideas and a brochure to take home. As we didn't see any of there sheds I asked for samples of the timber they used, l have renovated a few properties in the past so when I was shown the samples I know they use good quality timber. I have just had a bespoke 22x9 shed built and fitted, this was very well organized and Rachel took a lot of time to make sure my build was right. as you can see from the picture the tantalized wood and design is excellent.
I'm very happy with the overall build and I would recommend anyone looking for a quality shed at the right price to email or contact Chestnut sheds.
on installation day it was fast and friendly, very welcoming and a professional fit. the roof is pinned properly and not stuck down the build its self is faultless and I given good advice on how to oil it and maintain it.

Just had my summer house installed and it's a beauty! I can not recommend this company highly enough. I live too far away for them to offer delivery for the shed I wanted but it was such good value compared to my local suppliers (cheaper and better quality) I arranged to fetch it myself. I had a lot of queries which were all dealt with very efficiently, including advice on which vehicle I would need.
When I arrived they were ready for me, loaded and secured the shed onto my vehicle very quickly and gave me advice on how to erect it.

Really good experience from start to finish from this family run company. Turned upon time on the planned date and the Summerhouse (which is now a bar) is excellent quality. I would definitely use Chestnut again.

If you want a very good quality shed then these are the people to contact. I wanted a shed that was not a standard floor size or height and they came back with a quote in a couple of hours. If I subsequently emailed with a question, I received a reply very quickly.
The delivery men arrived on time and worked at a steady pace, not rushing to get to the next job. They were a little confused when arranging the panels because, my shed is back to front. The 'front' panel is solid and the 'rear' panel has the windows. The norm is the other way around! I want to grow a Clematis up the front wall.

Where do I start? Amazing on every level! I was looking for a summer house and there seemed to be two options. Affordable, photos clearly digitally touched up and reviews clearly false, or massively expensive. On searching eBay where there’ll be honest customer ratings, I found Chestnut, a family run business in Birmingham. The price is affordable, perhaps a little higher, but only a little. The design and quality is as good as the expensive category. The buildings are fully tanalised so will last, but always worth a coat of sadolin, the fitment of the panels is spot on, the quality of the fittings

Thank you to Rachel & the team for all your help from time of order in Aug 2020 to installation in Dec 2020. We had a few issues with the UPVC supplier which were outside of Chestnut sheds control. The team installed our build on time and returned to install the UPVC doors and windows as soon as these were available. This enabled us to complete our project in time for Xmas! Our transaction with this Friendly family run company has been excellent, from initial inquiries' to customizing the build of our Summerhouse to our specifications, several emails and questions from me always answered promptly by Rachel (thanks Rachel) !!down to delivery which was on the quoted date by friendly polite and informed delivery men who gave us advice on how to erect the building.
