Ian Firth started his career in hardware at the tender age of 15, but soon progressed to being Managing Director of Cartwright Hardware in Leeds. However in 1982 he took the giant leap into the unknown when he set up his own business - Ian Firth Hardware Ltd. It was a big risk, working from his family home supplying local housebuilders with ironmongery, but the gamble paid off and just a year later the company moved to its first premises.
Founded in 1982, Ian Firth Hardware Ltd is a privately owned business specialising in the manufacture, sales and distribution of residential doors, hardware and associated building products. The directors and staff of the company are dedicated to offering a professional and helpful service to our valued customers.
Whatever the material, all our doorframes are fitted with weatherseals which have been tested to BS6375. White as standard, but other colours can be made to special order with Steel reinforcement. Sidelights can be made with or without midrail, and can be made with multiple horizontal rails if required.
We have teamed up with Everbuild Building Products, the UK's leading name in sealants, adhesives and building chemicals, to offer a comprehensive range of products selected especially for the housebuilder. However this range featured is by no means exhaustive, if Everbuild make it we can supply it, just ask.
Enhance the ecological value of a site with these bird, bat and bug boxes. There is a huge range to choose from to suit every requirement of the Ecological Surveyor, too large to show every product here, however we can obtain the specified products from a trusted source including the recognised Schwegler range.

While the quality of their products ay be high, I have been waiting two weeks for a key replacement. As a pretty fundamental item, being without one for so long is horrendous (especially in these times where if you are waiting for a partner to come home you have very few options besides waiting on the street).
Any key cutter can cut a key in a matter of minutes. Combined with the price charged to replace a key (£30) you'd hope they'd do so swiftly and send with next day delivery. Unfortunately that has not been the case. I'm two weeks into waiting with no update yet on when this will be sorted
