ARS (Stoke-on-Trent) Ltd and are general and specialised hauliers which has operated now for over 30 years. Richard Watts began with reclaimed railway sleepers 30 years ago when he was working in the farming industry and from that the business quickly grew. Originally the company name was 'Roy Watts and Son', but 10 years later David Heath joined and the business was renamed to Heath & Watts.
The transportation of narrow boats is another part of our core business, utilising "trombone" trailers that can extend from 45 up to 75 ft giving us the capability to transport boats of different shapes and sizes. We also manage site clearances for a wide range of industries providing both the vehicles, usually 8-wheel tippers, plus the onsite plant needed for loading the vehicles.
