Botley Carpet Cleaners is a family owned business, based in Botley, Southampton, and is owned by Angel and Chris Myerscough. Chris spent 15 years as a manager in the cleaning industry, working 60 - 80 hours a week, before the birth of their daughter in 2011. Chris decided that he didnt want to be one of those fathers that were absent for most of her young life, and the idea of Botley Carpet Cleaners was born.
Botley Carpet Cleaners have been providing carpet cleaning services to predominantly the Southampton, Eastleigh and Fareham areas, as well as the rest of Hampshire, for the last six years. As a company, we firmly believe that a healthy home or office starts from the ground up, with clean and fresh carpets, rugs and upholstery cleaned deeply, correctly and at a reasonable price.
We work on all kinds of rugs from your modern man-made materials, through to your beloved Turkish hand knotted wool or silk rug. Every rug will receive a full pre - inspection to identifiy any issues, existing damage, or risk of colour migration. The pre-inspection also identifies any required stain removal processess and a full report is given to our client before the rug cleaning proceeds.
We use a dry cleaning method for the cleaning of Sisal or seagrass carpets to gently clean them while leaving no risks of shrinkage, the same methods can be used on standard carpets but for these water extraction is far more effective. We start the clean on these natural fibre carpets with a thorough suction clean using our industrial vacuums, then apply our dry compound this is 98% biodegradable.

Had our hall stairs and landing cleaned today and I’m so pleased with it! 2 years of living on a building site on cream carpets had almost ruined it but the carpet has come up like new, we will definitely be using them again, they were on time, friendly and did a superb job! Highly recommended

I contacted Chris to clean a bedroom carpet for an end of tenancy clean, and was happy with the really reasonable price.
I was concerned about the mould stains that were in the carpet and whether they would come out, but Chris did a brilliant job and the carpet looks great!

Chris and his team have been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. From quick, polite responses at initial bookings to extremely high quality workmanship during the job, where they have made rugs that we thought needing replacing look new again and have totally revitalised our carpets, something we were very keen to do without a horrible chemical smell during to a new babies imminent arrival and owning dogs.
