We are a joinery company based in Solihull, and working across a number of areas including Birmingham, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, and the West Midlands.
As your local joiners, we can provide a number of specialist design services and bespoke interiors for your home, including kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and more. We can also provide profile design for skirting and architraves, a site measurement service, free consultations and design. This is the first time i have ever left a review but i just felt Chris and his company deserved recognition for what he did for us.
We purchased a kitchen for our daughter and we had to have some of the units cut down to reduce the height of the worktop due to her being a wheel chair user, every other company we rung was not prepared to help due to the fact they never supplied the kitchen, but Chris was totally different he never hesitated in saying yes and arranged a time for us to bring them in to the workshop.
When i got there he couldnt have been more helpful and he cut everything down as

Used Dovetail Design and Joinery after a recommendation from a friend and was so pleased we did. We had a extension built and we wanted some windows made to match our original timber windows.
Dovetail did not disappoint from the initial contact when someone came out and disscused our options and listened to our concerns about the new windows being as close as possible to the original windows. They then took photos and measurements of the existing windows fitted in our house so they could match the new windows to the originals. All through the process which was a total of about 6 weeks from start

BE AWARE!!!
After needing new windows on my house I got in touch with this company as they are local to me and spoke to Christian on the phone he came 3 weeks later and said he’d get back to me with a figure, in which he didn’t. I chased him up after a week as I hadn’t heard from him via phone and email, no reply.
Eventually when I did manage to get through he was very rude and arrogant in which I had done nothing to warrant. I’d highly not recommend using his services primarily because of his character and the business from what I’ve heard since is dodgy.

We Used Dovetail after we had seen some of there previous work locally which we had always liked. And I am pleased to say we weren't disappointed.
From the initial meet when we did our best to explain the style and design of doors that we wanted all the way through to the day of fitting.
We were constantly in contact with Chris asking questions or seeking advice on finish and fittings, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
We would happily recommend Dovetail to anyone and will be using them again on future projects.

Very very poor communication and the whole design process was unprofessional. When they came to my house to start work, they left without consulting me to return the following Monday despite the fact I was told it would take half a day. I can’t believe there are still companies like this trading, certainly won’t be using or recommending them to anyone.
