Welcome to Dekors, a family run Ayrshire business with over 25 years' experience in the trade. Brian and Lynda McCandlish evolved their paint contracting business into a Wallpaper, Paint & Fabric store in the late 1980's. The business continued to grow following the addition of their daughter, Julie Govan, to the team in 2002 and now the shop has developed into the store they have today with mother and daughter at the helm.

We are stockists of Leyland Trade paints, decorating supplies, tools and accessories, all of which are specially selected for their value and quality.

September has us once again making spaces on our shelves for new designs of wallpapers. We have been listening to our customers and have hand picked a selection of products that we are sure you will love! New arrivals will begin to fill our shelves. A new dining experience has opened in Ayr, The Drunken Coo.

We've used Dekors when buying paint and paper for every room in the house. Good selection of quality paper, paint mixed to the required colour while you wait

Having spent a considerable amount of money in this store over the last few years, I was deeply disappointed to be told they would not allow me to exchange excess wallpaper for another design due to not having a receipt. Apparently a bank statement is not sufficient for HMRC! Whilst I accept that they are entitled to do this I cannot understand this being a good long term business plan. I’m afraid I will not be shopping there again.

Spent 30mins in store looking at wallpapers and materials and not once did the two women working acknowledge I was in store or offer any help or assistance. Even when leaving the store they didn't offer help. Discredit to the volume of options available in store to be put off by the service or lack of. Shame

Excellent choice and great service. The lady who helped us couldn't have been nicer or any more helpful. Great range going from reasonable to expensive but you get what you pay for and some of the more expensive papers were beautiful, different and super quality.
