Driveways Report

Off street parking has now become an almost essential part of modern life, with most homes having more than one car. We have a wide selection of surfaces available, each suiting different requirements. Subtle additions to the essential parts of a driveway can make all the difference between a car park & a beautiful front garden, whilst saving you precious time not having to maintain flowerbeds.

Construction Report

A typical driveway/car port area will be excavated to 300mm from finished paving height. A sub base will then be installed in order to provide a supportive base for the chosen surface material. This is made up from 150mm of 0-80mm crushed concrete, topped with a 50mm cover of Type 1. These are thoroughly compacted to give a solid base throughout the driveway.

The Law Report

Drop kerbs/crossovers must be authorised by the local council. The process of installing the crossover however does vary depending on the area. Some councils will provide you with a list of nominated contractors whom you employ directly yourself, others will simply quote you directly & carry out the work themselves.

Paul installed a new driveway for us, changed our fences, lay a new patio with retaining wall, laid a path and dug out and lay our new lawn. The complete package! Paul and his team were amazing and kept us informed when work had to be delayed due to heavy rain. We were always aware when additional choices we were making were adding to the original quote. We are very happy with the final job and would recommend to all our neighbours. We're loving our new driveway, patio and lawn for summer!
