Apart from the obvious 'sweeping' of your chimney we also supply (and fit!) chimney pots, bird guards and cowls as well as remove blockages. We have full CCTV facilities to observe any part of your flue for blockages and/or damage which we are able to remove/repair. If the blockage prevents your fire from burning then clearly the blockage need to be removed. We can examine your flue and find the cause (and more especially the remedy) for your blockage. It could be that you have a nest or bird in your flue. We can fit bird guards to prevent this happening in the future.
It can sometimes highlight a problem that could save you a small fortune (using the stitch in time principle). In any event it will enable a more informed decision to made in the case of something being out of the ordinary. It can also help us to proceed safely being aware of any issues or seeing a completely unobstructed flue.

Our general area is east Suffolk and northern Essex though we have gone much further for friends of clients. Clearly we would be willing to travel if you were prepared to foot any extra bills but if you are in south east Suffolk you are very safe, as is north Essex. For anywhere else it would be wise to contact us in the first istance.

Positive. Use Vince every year, and never had a problem with him. Leaves the site spotless. Vince is great and the service is good. Only thing is you have to book up early because he is so busy. Also needs to update services as he no longer fits bird guards and chimney cowls.

Came to sweep my chimney in December 2017 stuck a rod up the pipe which had some sort of metal piece on the end which was in turn connected to a drill when he pulled this out it made a hell of a noise paid my money and he went on his way. When the snow came down I was confronted with water running down the outside of the pipe onto the top of the wood burner to his due he came back pretty quick identified the problem (which was due to the seal being broken where the pipe enters the chimney) stated he would order the part get in touch within two or three weeks to fix it four weeks later heard nothing
