Founded by Lindsay Mattinson, BAS | BArch (UCT) | MArch | DipArch | ARB | RIBA in 2004, the practice builds on her 20+ years of experience creating places for people that value the significance of design.
Having completed many residential and large-scale commercial buildings throughout Europe, the foundation of our success comes from listening carefully to our clients to create beautiful, functional architecture that makes a real difference to their lives, both working and at home, whilst also allowing us to maintain close relationships with clients and all design and management aspects of our projects.

Services
Mattinson Associates can be taken on as a sole entity or as part of an extended team of consultants. Mattinson Associates provides front-end consultancy and innovative concept design solutions during the early stages of any project. All commercial projects start with feasibility studies of varying depth and even some of our bespoke residential projects follow the same route.
Lindsay's career as an Architect has taken her around the world working on schemes around Europe and further afield; from a 35,000sqm R&D building for Shell to residential projects in Zimbabwe. Jasmine studied for her Part I Architecture degree in Liverpool, followed by 2 years experience working for Mattinson Associates and completed her Part II, from the University of Westminster in 2017.
In previous years, we have run a competition called the Young Designers Award which helps children learn about architecture and the built environment at a grassroots level. Due to a lack of funding the YDA has not gone ahead but have now decided to run a digital competition for children during such a challenging time.
