We've used SD Hill before and when it got to needing to replace our boilers and rusty radiators we started requesting quotes and advice I was looking for advice on whether a combi boiler would be suitable for our family house as most advice on the internet was that they aren't. Two advised that we should stick with the hot water tank system but SD Hill said it would be fine to go for a combi.
We had quotes for both combi and upgrading the existing water tank system from SD Hill and then they took a few calls to answer my queries and then I was happy to go with the combi. Even though I wasn't 100

Wanted to fit a new bathroom. Phoned them in June, told me it will be September time. Came in July to take measures and give me and estimate. Not had an estimate even after 3 weeks. Phoned them to ask about it, only to find out they haven't managed to do an estimate, and that if I want my bathroom fitted, it will be October. From my point of view, poor client communication, poor service. Obviously, said no longer interested.

We recently had our heating system upgraded to a Worcester Bosch condensed boiler for our family house in Ashby, with new radiator valves and thermostatic control, and found the whole process to be trouble free.
