Hi, I would like to introduce myself, I am Gary Savage, the drain engineer and pride myself on good quality work and customer focused, who aims to make sure the customer is happy with the work undertaken and wouldnt hesitate to use the service again or recommend us to the next person. We aim to provide a fair and honest service that will leave you feeling good about the experience of having your drain unblocked.
We check the drains from below the ground and offer a complete service with a detailed report and footage via email. This is not a service we like to offer, but we do know that rats are not respectors of people, they will invade any drains that are not in use and take up residence in your home. They are a nuicance and we know the stress that noise can make in the middle of the night.
If no conventional access is available, extra charges will apply due to time taken to clear the drain. If pipes are damaged or an obstruction that is not deemed part of a normal blockage, i.e. rods stuck in drain, solid obstruction that is not found in a drain, toys, or any object that is not normally found in drains and clearance is/ is not possible, an extra charge will be made for time spent working on your drain.
Whatever the reason or problem with your clogged drain, Kernow Drains have 17 years experience in dealing with blockages. Drain clearances are generally straight forward and majority of clogged drains can be dealt with using drain rods. More stubborn clearances might require high pressure jetting, this is a last resort as the pressure of the water is fierce and can damage drains.
When you flush the toilet, take a shower or use the dishwasher, the waste water disappears round the U-bend, into your drain. At the point your drain connects into a pipe which serves more than one property, or the drain runs beyond your property boundary, South West Water become responsible for it.

My shower wasn't draining properly and my regular plumber couldn't fix it. So I contacted Kernow Drains who located the blockage and got my drains running again, all for a very competitive price. They're pleasant to deal with, they love what they do and they don't stop until they've fixed the problem.

Kernow drains have just left our house (9.15pm). What a friendly professional local business. I am due to go away and noticed wet around the driveway manhole, I lifted the lid to find it backed up solid. I rang them in a bit of a panic at 6pm on a Saturday night, the lady put my mind at rest and promised they would be with us in 2hrs, two hours later they arrived and worked hard to clear our drains right down to the main road. Very reasonable fixed price for a difficult job, thank you so much....if anyone out there has a problem with their drains.....ring this company, highly recommended.

The very friendly and professional people from Kernow Drain Services were able to fix a very tricky blockage for us in record breaking time. They came out on the same day we called and also offered loads of advice to try and avoid any future blockages. They quoted and charged us a fixed price, which was very reasonable indeed. We totally recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again if required.

If you have problems with your drains, there is only one telephone number you need, Kernow Drains. The service we received was exceptional and the price was very reasonable. Don't bother with the national corporates, support this great local business, you wont be ripped off and you definitely wont be disappointed.

I phoned Kernow Drains on a snowy Saturday afternoon after discovering a blocked foul drain at my property. Kernow Drains arrived within 30 minutes and completed a nasty and awkward job within an hour. Many thanks to Gary and Julie for their prompt action and their friendly and cheerful attitude. It's been a while since I used kernow drains, I used them twice and they are fantastic. Very friendly couple, very happy to go the extra mile even at 11pm, doing what most would think is a horrible job.
Came out on late notice, stayed later to help us clean up, happy to give advice on how to not need to call them out again...
All this and at about half the price of the 'big boys', I hope I never need to use them again but will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone.
