We are currently looking to take on an experienced architectural technologist to work on a number of projects ranging from small-scale residential through to larger commercial schemes. Autocad literacy, a solid understanding of current planning policy and Building Regulations is essential. The role will involve site visits to undertake surveys and it would therefore be beneficial for the applicant to have their own transportation.
A popular method of increasing room space is to carry out a loft conversion. This may be simply a case of installing a stair and a Velux rooflight but may also mean a complete roof re-build with considerable input required from a consulting structural engineer, re-routing of services for bathroom facilities in a character building, etc.

Alex produced plans for a side return extension on my house. He was very through, listened to what I wanted, was polite and prompt. He submitted the plans to the council and took care of all the paperwork, liaised with the party wall assessor and my builder. We gave Alex a brief of making our house more in keeping with the other houses in the area. From the start it was clear Alex had a very good understanding of the materials used in the other houses, the conservation area and some great ideas of how our more modern house could blend in. We are very happy with the end results and 3d rendering helped us visualise the different options. Alex dealt with all the existing and proposed plans and planning approvals, now we are moving onto the building works! Thank you.
