The company was founded in 1968 by current company Chairman, Anthony Whitehead, as a traditional weaving operation manufacturing narrow-loom Axminster carpets. We have invested heavily in plant and equipment during the past 10 to 15 years, enhancing and expanding our product portfolio to provide added value for our customers.
Adrian joined Newhey in 1996 after achieving a Ba Hons in Floorcoverings and Surface Pattern at Kidderminster College. Throughout the past 23 years Adrian has gathered a wealth of product knowledge across each of our manufacturing techniques, Axminster, Colortec & Graphics Tufted, and worked extensively on Bespoke projects and the development of stock collections.

Our extensive off the shelf stock collections make specifying the right carpet possible and painless. Select from a vast array of patterns, colours and textures that achieve a look that is faithful to your original designs.
All designs within the Express Collection can be easily accessed via our dedicated online design centre. Each design can be viewed in several pre-defined colourways, or if you prefer you can re-colour to suit your interior scheme. Not only can you select patterns and change colours, you can also view your chosen design in room settings, download images for presentation and request samples.

Warm, friendly company built on years of experience in manufacturing quality carpets. They have a team of talented designers and produce a vast array of innovative designs and bespoke designs to suit all tastes. I have known this company for over 20 years and they have always been honest, trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with. This is a company where reputation matters above all else. In a world where cheap is not cheerful, I trust that they will continue to supply quality UK made carpets throughout the UK & indeed throughout the rest of the world.
