Services
The traditional felt system has taken some flak over the last few years with the emergence of various single ply rubber systems. However, as the new systems move in, the old move on. The bituminous felt is now better made, longer lasting and now has longer guarantees which makes it one of the most cost effective reliable systems available while also keeping the traditional look.
At S.C Roofing we have the skill and experience in carrying out various leadwork projects in and around the Bath area from parapet walls in Queens Square, lead roofs in Camden to dormers in Widcombe. Lead is an excellent material for roofing as not only is it aesthetically pleasing to the eye but it is durable and performs excellently under the challenges of our British weather.
We work closely with renewable energy specialists Ecocetra Ltd. Together we can ensure that the roof is of sound condition before the solar panel is fitted. It is not uncommon for other renewable energy companies to fit solar panels on a roof that isn't up to standard. This can cause very expensive consequences for example having the panels removed, the roof repaired then panels refitted.
In an emergency we will try and solve the issue there and then but if the weather prevents this, we still do everything we can to carry out a temporary repair and make the area safe and water tight. In the 2013-3014 winter we had some of the worst winds and prolonged heavy rain downpours for a long period.
After many years of having a very troublesome roof that most other companies didn't want to deal with, Shane and his team replaced our shallow pitched roof. Over a year later we are still very happy with the job they have done and found Shane to be professional and easy to talk to, plus very reasonably priced.
