Macavis Construction & Plant Hire is a family-run construction firm based in Dover, Kent. Founded in 2015 by our Managing Director John Davis, the company has seen a huge expansion in recent years. We manage various small residential construction projects and also sub-contract packages for large main contractors throughout the South East of England.

I have used Macavis many many times, great prices and helpful staff. Brilliant place to hire plant from and a great muckaway service. A well stocked shop selling tools and pretty much everything you need to complete your building project successfully. Fantastic team and service. We’ve used the firm for over 6 years now and on numerous projects at home including a new driveway, garage conversion to playroom and office, removal of conservatory and rear… extension, and complete garden renovation.
The team are reliable and friendly. They work hard to achieve target deadlines and also very reasonable on price.
