Crown lifting - removal of lower branches around a trees crown to allow light to pass through. Crown thinning - removal of selective branches within the tree to allow light to pass through whilst still keeping the overall shape.

This method is the most efficient method of destroying the stump leaving the area ready for the next stage of garden design, replanting, fencing or building works.

Special branch have been at mine all day and what a nice, hardworking set of lads they all were. They cleaned and tidied all the way along, after cutting down and trimming many trees, and have done a superb job. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They are a credit to the business. The service and professionalism by all members of the team was outstanding, from making an appointment to view the proposed work, to the two days work and clearing up.
On day one, the team arrived promptly to remove an old sycamore tree that was as tall as the house. They were all friendly polite and hard working throughout the day.
I was most impressed by the way the garden was tidied up at the end of the day and I was even asked if it was tidy enough, before they left (it was tidier than when they arrived!).
On day two, the stump was ground down and again a fabulous job was done.
