Mark, the Managing Director, of Arridge Garage Doors Ltd. "found" garage doors in a Job Centre in Wolverhampton in 1989. As a Design Technology B. Ed. Hon's student at Wolverhampton Polytechnic he took a summer job as a garage door fitter. Having previously been a furniture maker he had the basic skills.

Matthew at Arridge was helpful and knowledgeable and steered me towards a great solution for my new door, which was installed without any hassle by a brilliant local fitter who checked all the details on site prior to ordering. In my case they recommended a sectional door as I wanted to maximise the opening width. All delivered and completed on time.

BE AWARE - If we could rate this company and the CEO (Mark) and his wife (Irina) less than one we would for professionalism, quality and installation. The most unreasonable attitude with no integrity of customer consideration - they are in it for the money!
Having ordered the door and side door in June 2021 with a promise of delivery within 8-10 weeks, we received them on 17th November having paid over £5000 in good faith, up front and in full. At no point, even after chasing did anyone proactively contact us to make us aware of potential delay….in November, they were still advertising delivery

Our most recent experience with purchasing a garage door from Arridge Garage Doors was, as with all our previous purchases from them, a pleasure. I highly recommend Arridge Garage Doors. They offered a good selection of choice enabling me to get exactly what functionality i wanted and in a very good colour match to the rest of the house. A technician came round and measured up, then a couple of weeks later it was installed. Price was competitive, quality excellent, and it was nice to use a local Shropshire firm. 6 months later... i am still delighted!

We needed a new door for our house in west Wales where door fitting firms are thin on the ground. Found Arridge online and they are able to cover west Wales. Paid the £100 deposit over the phone, they came and measured the doorway but we chose another door after receiving their quote for a more basic design. They were decent on the price of the more expensive new design door to "get us over the line". The Garador Ascot door was expertly fitted by a company from Chirk , near Wrexham. Arridge were professional and helpful from beginning to end and we are delighted with the result.

After shopping around we opted for Arridge Garage Doors Ltd, not purely on a competitive pricing basis, more on their customer relations approach. This proved to be the most satisfactory choice. We had issues with Covid creating delays on delivery, apart from this the finished product is first class, if we ever need another automatic garage door we would certainly go straight back to AGDLtd.

Our home is in Kent. In November 2020 local companies were telling us lead times for a double rolling shutter doors were in excess of twelve weeks. Arridge managed to supply and fit 240 miles south in under four weeks. We found this company to be very professional and efficient. The installation is of a very high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Arridge Garage Doors show great customer focus, to ensure that the customer actually gets what he/she wants and needs. We were a bit nervous about using an online garage door company for, what for us was quite a large expense on a sectional door and with electric opener. Got a new door for our very old garage. The firm were extremely helpful and the instructions clear on how to measure up. Because the garage is so old the doors had to be custom made. The quality is excellent and the door sturdy and well made . Fitting (for two people) was straightforward and the result a vast improvement on the previous door. Would have no hesitation recommending this company.
