His team are experienced and professional arborists specialising in all aspects of tree surgery from hedge maintenance, site clearances to dangerous tree removals.

A tree surgeon is a person who is responsible for felling trees, pruning branches, splitting logs and hedge maintenance in a safe and controlled manner. Yes, We are fully insured through arborisk. Our public liability policy covers us for 5 million and our employers liability policy covers us for 10 million.
We removed a number of trees on this site, this was done to enable the contractor to widen the track for vehicle and trailer access, the oak was sold for milling and all other timber was processed for firewood. This mature oak was protected by a TPO (tree preservation order). The council deemed the tree dangerous, lifted the TPO and ordered for it to be taken down.

Really impressed with Hywel and his team. We had three really tall cypress trees, all within 2 m of the house, so not an easy job. Hywel turned up exactly when he said he would, and did exactly what he said he would. They all worked incredibly hard, but also with great care. The trees went down exactly where they wanted them (as I watched on nervously). They made sure the house was screened while they ground the stumps, and they cleared away all the mess. They got loads done in two days and left everything tidy. I would definitely recommend Hywel.

We needed 4 trees removed, one stump and lots of Laurel hedges that had grown like wild fire and were too big for us to tackle safely. I contacted Hywel who responded quickly quoted a fair price and turned up when promised and completed the works in a day. We highly recommend Hywel Jones tree service we will be using them on a regular basis.
